"We are not in the business of selling handbags. We are in the business of selling dreams."

Het thema van de business case is "Value creation through branding". De studenten zijn al druk bezig met de voorbereiding op het maken van de case.  Ramon Lamberink stuurde mij al een youtube movie op met de volgende tekst: An interesting video from a lecturer in branding, found on the internet. It is about branding and how to create value, concerning Asia.


Beautiful examples are mentioned and a very nice final sentence, what is in my opinion, the main issue of branding:
"We are not in the business of selling handbags. We are in the business of selling dreams."
